OCTOBER 2018 - (Date TBC) to coincide with the opening weekend of 7 Peaks season and also 27th December 2018 and 7th Jan 2019
Are you looking for that next challenge? This is it - 11 Peaks / 7 days cycle tour in Victoria’s High Country
What are the 11 peaks I hear you say? There are of course the ‘official’ 7 Peaks, but we have added to this tour Mt Wills from Mitta, Falls Creek from WTF Corner Omeo Highway, Whitfield Pub from Mansfield, and Tawonga Gap from Tawonga. 11 climbs totalling 15,716m in elevation and 623km distance.
Let’s break that down… firstly, you don’t need to be a mountain goat, and you don’t need to climb fast, but you will need to be fit and strong enough to repeat on average 89km and 2,245m elevation per day for 7 days.
If you want that next cycle challenge or you may even be a little crazy - this tour is just right for you. Start and finish in Wodonga with easy access by freeway, rail and Albury airport. We can organise pick-ups, help set your bike up or bike hire if required. Places limited – min 4 cyclists, max 12.
Day 1 - Drive Wodonga to Mitta Mitta. Cycle from Mitta Mitta to Anglers Rest via Mt Wills (Peak 1). Stay in shared accommodation and dine at the Blue Duck Inn.
Day 2 - Cycle along the Omeo Highway towards WTF Corner and ascend the back way to Falls Creek (Peak 2). Continue on to Mt Beauty where we return back to Falls Creek (Peak 3) via Bogong and Howmans Gap. Shared accommodation at Mt Beauty.
Day 3 - Cycle Tawonga Gap (Peak 4) and keep going until we reach the summit of Mt Buffalo (Peak 5). We then load up and drive to Harrietville where we ride up Mt Hotham (Peak 6). Stay overnight and dine at Dinner Plain.

Day 5 – Drive to Rawson then cycle from Rawson to Mt Baw Baw (Peak 8). From here we load up and drive to Marysville.
